Community Earth Day Bike Ride

Join the Princeton Pedestrian and Bike Advisory Committee and Walk Bike Princeton for a relaxed, family-friendly 6-mile ride through quiet streets and local parks, ending at Morven for Sustainable Princeton’s Earth Day celebration. Assemble at 11:00 am at Princeton Shopping Center, next to McCaffrey’s (map), 301 North Harrison St, Princeton, NJ 08540. Push out at 11:15 am. All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring a bike and helmet!
Porchfest by Bike: A Mobile Music Tour of Princeton

This group bike ride will hit 8-10 of the live performances across town. There will be brief rides between sets and plenty of listening time. Whether you stay for the full ride or peel off along the way, it will be a special way to experience Porchfest and Princeton on two wheels. Meet at the Whole Earth Center at 11:45 am. All are welcome!

Join Walk Bike Princeton and Princeton Future for a tour of traffic safety hot spots in Princeton, followed by a public discussion about needed safety improvements. Where in town are pedestrians and bicyclists particularly vulnerable? What contributes to motor vehicle crashes involving people and bicycles? What first steps could be taken to improve road safety for all?
📍 Location: Meet at the plaza at 185 Nassau St. at 10 AM (near Thomas Sweet). The hour-long walk will begin and end there. The discussion will be in Aaron Burr Hall, room 219 (second floor).
Car-Free Happy Hour with Walk Bike Princeton! Connect with neighbors, celebrate walking and biking, learn how to get involved, and support our work for safer, more people-friendly streets. All are welcome. Bring a neighbor or friend!

Group Ride: Testing Princeton’s New Bike Facilities!
Sunday, October 19, 2025. 2 PM – 4 PM. Start point: Tennis Courts in Community Park South, Princeton. Members of Walk Bike Princeton will tour the town to test out bike facilities including bike lanes, side paths, and traffic-calming measures that have been installed in recent years. Which are best for helping make cycling fun? Total ride distance will be about 6.6 miles, at a very relaxed pace with several stops. Bicycle and helmet required!
